My Tools
My Table Saw
This is my all time favorite tool. It is a Felder Brand 10’ sliding table saw.
The entire table left of the blade is on a rolling carriage—very cool. Dining room furniture table tops come out square within 1/64”.
RRR Guys like to come over and roll big sheets of plywood, glued up tops and all such past the 12” blade. It is almost as fun as a bass boat.
My Drum Sander
Small shop wood workers admire this sander. It has a 50” long drum so we can sand wide dining room furniture table tops with perfect ease.
I got a contract to make three miles of baseboard and bought this machine to sand it all.
If you open the hood you can watch the big drum scouring away wood—Nifty, Nifty.
My Band Saw
Mini-Max 20” Band saw—700 pounds of European steel.
I know “Detroit Iron” sounds better; but I just liked the Mini-Max.
I get the thickness taper from front to back on my chair seats by angle cutting the blanks on this saw.
The throat is open the whole 20 inch height—that’s a lot of whirring blade to have up close to the fingers. I still have all ten – PTL.
