These artistic tables are intended to sit grandly in a well appointed room but still not be pretentious. They are artsy but quiet enough that they will not take over the room.
Walnut MineralWood™ Finish
I wanted to build very large artistic tables that have great detail work, stand-out design, soft color, and wonderful lines that will make people keep walking back to look again.
The broad expanse of the MineralWood™ top with its professional over-graining on my custom cut and dried walnut top, or gorgeous wild cherry, will be the talk of the party. You likely will have to keep answering “Where did they get such beautiful wood?”

The MineralWood™ artistry is carried down into the shapely apron corner blocks, a single vertical rail, and the 1” thick foot pads at the floor.
The main table top closed is 42” wide by 72” in length. With the leaves in place it is a full 9’ long and will seat 10 people easily. Large dining sets can be very difficult to find, let alone large dining sets with the style and elegance of this extension dining room table.
In any home it can be difficult to find attractive storage. Dining room or kitchen storage of your table leaves is often a headache. My wife said it was important to get the two 18” leaves to store under the table. They do. The apron pieces easily detach and store invisibly under the table top next to the leaves when not in use. They are simple to install, sturdy, safe, and easy to put away. This convenient storage, dining room or kitchen, will keep your MineralWoodTM table leaves in wonderful condition for years to come.
When you slide this table open you will see that the entire under carriage is beautifully arranged and finished. Quality is not reduced anywhere on these artistic tables. The extension mechanism is all custom cut, powder-coated black steel. The connector pins and pockets for the leaf edges are bright, solid brass. The base is solid maple, joined with precision, and very strong.

The finish on the maple base for the walnut top is a pale gold pickling.
The maple base for the wild cherry top is finished in a fine spatter finish black lacquer.
This is a really beautiful hardwood dining table.
People often discuss which is more striking, the dark walnut table or the cherry. I will let you decide.

This beautiful dark walnut table is a three legged companion piece for the Walker Mountain Extension Table.
It features a MineralWood™ dark walnut table top with matching feet and base trims.
The diameter is 31” and the height is 30”, the same as the extension table.
The base for the walnut top is pickled maple. The base for the cherry top is light spatter black lacquer.
