Walnut Decorative Table w/ Iron Base
Description:
This table is a hybrid of the old and new. The iron base is reclaimed, and refinished in a deep brown with a few black accents. The walnut top we constructed new in our shop. This 1" thick tabletop is made from our air-dried walnut, and the grain of this beautiful wood is set at 45 degree angle for some added interest. We also discovered some boards with excellent sapwood in them (the very light streaks you see in the photo above). Our unique process allows us to work around the most beautiful and interesting grain we can find in each board, thereby letting the natural beauty of the wood shine through. The size of this table makes it perfect for a larger accent piece in a foyer or living room.
