I was more than pleased with my restored cedar chest. It was in terrible shape and thought I would have to throw it away. It is beautiful now and everyone that comes in my home comments on it.

Don repaired a china cabinet door for me that had been broken. He did an excellent job of repairing it and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs furniture repairing.

We have a pine coffee table that was damaged by a decoration that caught fire and burned a portion of the top of the table. We had heard good things about Old Virginia Woodworking, so we contacted Don and took the table to him to evaluate. After thinking about it a few days, we authorized the repair/restoration. He did a beautiful job and gave us back a table that looked almost new. I am thankful for his expertise and willingness to take on this task. My wife and I highly recommend Old Virginia Woodworking.

Earlier in our marriage, my wife and I purchased a unique pie safe in good condition.its our favorite piece of furniture in the house. After graduation we decided to have it restored. This was not a piece I wanted just any furnishing shop to redo or work on. I found Don on Facebook and brought it to him. Don immediately was able to give me a lot of information about our pie safe (techniques, material, design philosophy) that isn’t information you can easily find on google. Not gonna lie the price did catch me off guard a little, but I 100% would have paid it x2 after seeing the finished product. Don and his years of experience shine through our piece and look forward to handing it down to our kids and hopefully their kids.
