I recently moved to Tennessee and in the process of moving, somehow one of the legs on my buffet broke right off! I was heartbroken to think it was destroyed and unusable. Found Don online and was quickly gotten in and repaired like new! Just a few days and he was done, even though I know he had other projects he was working on. I'm very happy to have been able to put it to use again! Great work and very pleasant to deal with!

Don gave me a fair estimate for repairing an antique Head and Foot Board. He repaired the items and there like new. He required half down and finished the project in record time. I'm very pleased with his work and highly recommend his business for ant wood repair or refinishing.

I recently had Don refinish a 35 year oak dining room table that had seen years of homework, family meals and an occasional household project. I found Old Virginia Woodworking via the Internet. I am not one to casually select a vendor using this method but I was impressed with the depth of experience Don demonstrated and his commitment to supporting other craftsmen in what I consider the "art" of woodworking. We are so very pleased with how our table turned out! Thank you, Don, for supporting us in revitalizing our table, making it vibrant and useable again.

Don at Old Virginia Woodworking did an EXCELLENT job stripping layers of paint from our 100+year old doors and refinishing them back into their natural, orignial look. He was extremely professional and communicative throughout the process and I cannot recommend him high enough. He is a true craftsman of the woodworking trade and I assure you after visiting his shop, he can undertake any woordworking job one might have!! If you need something built from scratch or refinished to a brand new appearance, Old Virginia Woodworking is the place to go!! Thanks again Don!!

Don did a wonderful job on the two pieces brought to him. The pie safe (pictured) needed some major TLC and Don came through with flying colors. It looks great for a piece from 1720!

Don repaired a china cabinet door for me that had been broken. He did an excellent job of repairing it and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs furniture repairing.

It’s a hike to get to Don’s shop, but the work he does is worth the effort. We had a bedside cabinet that I had ruined with a leaky CPAP machine and a gate leg table that lost a gate. Don and his apprentices repaired both to better than new condition. If you have fine, real wood furniture, Don is your man. The pricing seems a bit high…until you see the results. Then you realize the cost is almost a bargain!
